EVM supports unified management and control across distributed datacenters and locations, employing multi-region database synchronization and federation capabilities together with multi-forest enterprise directory integration. EVM enables management "Regions" to be defined, each one operating independently but synchronizing to a central Region. If network connectivity is lost between a Region and the central site the Region will operate normally and when connectivity is restored the central view will automatically and efficiently be synchronized.
